Using the Internet to Maintain Relationships in the Real World - May 2006
This was a web cast I created for the Music Artist clients we have. It was sent as a "touch" piece and to thank many of our clients for coming out to a workshop we did in Los Angeles.
This web cast was a rough test to see how lighting, placement of the TelePrompter would work, etc. so I wasn't focusing on what I was saying as much as the environment around me. However, its an excellent example of the production skills I have with green screen, video editing, music, etc.
This video tutorial was developed as part of an overall web project to help a corporate office train each franchise owner how to use the Online Appointment Scheduler we developed to view appointment requests, registered users, and change availability, store hours and contact information, etc. Adobe Captivate was used to capture my keyboard strokes and mouse clicks while using the web based interface.
An Instructional DVD developed for Music Artists on how to use the Internet to maintain relationships they create with fans through live shows and how to use the Internet as a research tool to find where fans hang out, better venues to perform in, find the right publications to get their music reviewed, the right CD Stores to place their music, and how to use radio stations for exposure whether or not they get airplay. Encompasses using email effectively as an Artists, as well as setting up a proper music artist web site. This product was either given to an new web design client, or sold at public speaking engagements.
